National 8-Track Day falls on April 11 this year and if you are old enough to remember what an 8-track is, well, we are too! For you younger parents, the 8-track was the precursor to the cassette tape (wait, you know what that is, right?) and was at its peak between 1965 and 1975. Many cars had state-of-the-art 8-track players installed, which means they remained popular through the early 1980s. Even if you’ve never heard of an 8-track, it’s cool. You’ll still love the music.
