Steer Away at Diggerland – West Berlin, N.j.

Does your kid go crazy over construction sites? Is "Bob the Builder" one of your go-to shows? Little builders will be in backhoe-loading heaven at this construction-themed amusement park and if you've always dreamed about pulling up some earth with the claw of a giant digger here's your chance! Kids (and grown-ups, too!) can try their hand at all sorts of vehicles, including backhoe loaders, skid-steers, tractors, and dumper trucks. Bigger kids (taller than 42") can also brave an assortment of construction-themed thrill rides, including the Spin Dizzy, which spins riders around and around in the jaws of a modified digger.

Insider Tip: Kids must be at least 36" to ride most of the rides—and, in some cases, must also be accompanied by an adult to ride.
