Knott’s Soak City Waterpark—Buena Park, Ca

Newly expanded for 2017, the OC’s largest outdoor water park debuts seven new slides this year, as well as two new slide towers: Shore Break—seven stories high with six different slides—and The Wedge—an open air family raft ride full of twists, turns and unexpected drops. If you’re up for it, four of the new seven slides start with an Aqua Launch chamber: you wait until the floor drops out from under you to start the slide! If this all sounds too thrilling for your tiny ones, there’s Gremmies Lagoon—a sweet 1 ft. depth splash pad full of interactive play. You can also cool down in the 750,000-gallon Tidal Wave Bay to ride the surf. In addition, the restaurant has undergone a remodel and they’ve added a bunch of cabanas and seating areas to relax in.
