Wild Island Family Adventure Park—Sparks, Nv

Who says you can’t have a bit of the tropics right next to the Biggest Little City? Just minutes from the Reno airport, the Wild Island Family Adventure Park has a little bit of everything for all ages and stages. Although it has plenty of attractions,  it’s refreshingly easy to navigate. The Bahama Mama River is a quarter-mile long and easy to get in and out (plus, mamas, you can make a quick pit stop at Kokomo’s Island Bar). There’s a tandem tube ride that will make you scream and plenty of other thrill rides. The Little Lagoon is ideal for littles who get enough thrill just by splashing around. When you’re ready to dry off, there’s plenty else to do including Go-Karts, pirate mini-golf, bowling and more.

Good to know: Check the website to confirm the waterpark is open. Lower than normal temperatures have meant early summer closures.
