That hot summer sun has you reaching for the sprinkler. But before you can turn the hose on, your water babies are begging to hit the sprayground. Because even the coolest sprinklers can’t compete with the cannons, dump buckets and spray nozzles they’ll find there. Wanna know what other awesome splash pads features are out there? Yakulla Caverns at the Phoenix Zoo – Phoenix, Az

An edu-taining experience can be had at Yakulla Caverns, the rugged sprayground located at the Phoenix Zoo. There’s a waterfall, a tunnel, a slide, and once inside the cave (there are three entrances) kids can check out the stalactites and stalagmites that cover the ceiling, play in the water that drops down the sides of the cave, and watch the sun shine through holes found all over the cave—making for some pretty serious sparkles.
