Mt. Elliot Park – Detroit, Mi

With a Great Lakes schooner theme, the renovated Mt. Elliott Park & Pavilion lures kids with water cannons and cascades that are prime for a summer splash. The area includes fishing out-looks, a play scape and the big ship centerpiece, and tons of interactive stuff, from water shooters to wind chimes. Once your kids are done splashing, enjoy a stroll along the renovated east riverfront, or grab a bite from the cafe nearby.
