Earlier this year Target announced its plans to fully redesign its stores complete with separate entrances for speed shopping with kids versus mom-time browsing. Now, the first location to get a complete remodel has opened its doors and given us a glimpse of the future for Target shoppers.
The Target location in Richmond, Texas will be serving as a model for redesigns of over 1,000 existing stores between now and 2020. Some of the notable changes include a revamped grocery section where you can now pick up on-the-go foods.
Curbside parking spaces will be available where you can pull in and have a Target employee bring your online order straight out to your car. This is a super plus for when you’re juggling errands and a sleeping baby.
Shiplap fanatics will be excited to find an entire section dedicated to the new Hearth & Hand With Magnolia line from Chip and Joanna Gaines.
Last, but not least of the impressive upgrades are the two entrances, one for quick trips when you need to grab that last-minute item and go, and another for when you’re on a mini mom vacay and actually have time to browse while the kids are at school.
