Some parents do baby books; new dad Jonathan Jui does cartoons.

The London-based cartoonist has an Instagram account, #JonaJooey, in which he captures all of of his most memorable parenting moments with his son via one-panel comics.

“Within 24 hours of becoming a dad, my brain was ready to explode from all the new, funny and frustrating things that were going on in our lives,” Jui told the HuffPost. “It was all just going by so fast and of course I am never able to get a photo while in the trenches of parenting, and I didn’t quite have the energy to write a journal entry that would do a memory justice … so a cartoon felt like the right medium.”

And, the posts are spot-on.

With Jui’s toddler son, Milo, providing seemingly endless antics (as all toddlers do!), there’s no loss for content. And, no doubt, every parent of a toddler can relate to some of this stuff.

And while most of the posts are cartoons, sometimes real-live snapshots sneak in, like this “moment of peace and tidiness” between mother and son. Uh, on the potty.

I like pictures because they prove to me there are moments of peace and tidiness 😅😬 (won't say what happened moments later)

Jui also has a website, Baba’s Field Notes, in which he posts his cartoons as well as letters to his son.
