As if summer wasn’t reason enough to celebrate, we’ve rounded up 10 fun and funky holidays that will make those lazy days of August a blast. Did you know August is a month to celebrate elephants, bowling and bacon? August 8 – Bowling Day

Have you tried bowling with the kids this summer? It’s a fun and cheap way to keep the kids active, while trying something new and practicing sportsmanship before soccer season begins. Check out the Kids Bowl Free program to find a bowling alley that's participating in your area. Kids can bowl two games most days of the week until early September for free.
