Just when you thought you’d heard it all, you find out that wasabi and hot chicken wing Oreos actually exist. Mondelez International recently announced its newest additions to the Oreo lineup as the products hit store shelves in China.

The famed cookie maker is no stranger to unique flavors and in the past they’ve created some magical flavors such as rainbow sherbet, mint chocolate, red velvet and jelly donut. But the new foray into spicy flavors is a first––and we’re not really sure how we feel about it just yet.

While the company quantifies the newest creation as “innovative,” our taste buds haven’t gotten the memo. It’s only natural that we question the pairing of such a crisp and sweet cookie with a mouth-burning creamy filling. Twitter users have been sharing their confusion and thoughts on the new cookie, and it’s downright funny.

Mondelez International has not stated whether the new cookies will expand beyond the Chinese marketplace, so if you’d like to taste them you’re going to have a make the trip overseas. If you do, let us know how they are––so we don’t have to try them ourselves.
