Satomi Sushi is a tiny restaurant that serves some powerful menu items. In addition to sushi and other Japanese dishes, they serve the Flaming Dragon, which consists of shrimp, crab meat, avocado and spicy tuna covered with salmon, yellowtail, tuna and tobiko. It is deep fried, rolled in foil, set aflame and served to your table.

Fremont is home to a large Afghan community. Visit “Little Kabul”, a two-block area on Fremont Boulevard in the Centerville District. You will find many Afghan stores and restaurants. Enjoy various grilled meat and kabob dishes and the ambiance of the Middle East.

Looking for Mediterranean food? Yalla’s offers authentic dishes made with local produce and humanely raised meats. Their fish are caught locally. Everything is fresh and environmentally friendly. Enjoy a homemade craft brew or wine on tap with your grilled meal.

Indian food is abundant in Fremont. Two of the most popular places are Shalimar and Chutney. If you time it right, you can also enjoy The Festival of India, which takes place August 12th and 13th. This Fremont tradition is celebrating 25 years of Indian heritage with dance, shows and booths displaying and selling Indian culture.
