1. Melatonin Supplements
Melatonin is a hormone that your brain naturally produces to help signal your body that it’s time to sleep. Certain behaviors, like scrolling through Facebook in bed, can interfere with your body’s natural production, which is when a supplement can be used to replace the lacking hormonal effect.

2. Valerian Root
If melatonin doesn’t do the trick, valerian root is another natural supplement that studies have shown to help people suffering from insomnia.

3. Chamomile Tea
A warm cup of tea is often a good remedy for winding down after a crazy day. Besides the comforting warmth and soothing scent, one recent study found that new moms who drank chamomile tea reported fewer symptoms of insomnia.

4. Lavender

The only downside is you’ll probably wake up in the middle of the night, starving from missing dinner, and you’ll be forced to use your stealthiest ninja moves to sneak out without waking your kid.
