If you grew up watching Jan, Marcia, Greg, Cindy and the rest of The Brady Bunch, you’ll be excited to revisit America’s favorite TV family in a brand new show for HGTV: A Very Brady Renovation!
Brandy Bunch fans will recall the story that set the internet on fire earlier this year, when it was revealed that the iconic Brady house was going up for sale. Luckily the home—which fans were worried would end up torn down—was scooped up by HGTV and now it’s about to become even better than ever.
The Studio City, California home has been a tourist highlight for decades, with fans driving by and stopping to take pictures. What many fans don’t realize is that only the exterior of the house was used in the show. The interior of the Brady house was a constructed on a Hollywood soundstage—and the real house looks nothing like the shag-carpeted home on the television series. Until now.
In A Very Brady Renovation, the stars of the original series will come together to help renovate the house to make it look exactly like the on-set home appeared on the classic television series. This reno will be no easy feat, so of course HGTV has brought out the big guns to make the magic happen with the Property Brothers’ Drew and Jonathan Scott heading up the crew.
The show, which will also star the six former child stars of The Brady Bunch, Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy), will air sometime in 2019.
