Montreal, Canada – Canal du Lachine

Stretching over a beautiful canal of about 9 miles, the Lachine Canal is a flat route with distracting attractions like year-round chess games, outdoor sculptures and street food extravaganzas. And there’s no reward greater than a satisfying meal of cheese, chocolate and berries after a long bike ride, which hungry bikers will find at the end of the trail at Atwater Market.

Family Travel Tip: There are plenty of bathrooms and water fountains along the path, and free wifi at Atwater Market.
