General Sherman Tree – Sequoia National Park, Ca, United States

Woot! How many little arms will it take to get round the General Sherman? Although many trees surpass this tree as largest, tallest, oldest and widest, it does have its claim to fame as the largest living single stem tree. As a sequoia, it belong to the family of the world’s most massive tree. If you ever pass by a sequoia with black burns, let your seedlings know those are the tree’s “battle scars” from forest fires.
