When you need something right away, but you don’t have time to shop or wait for that two-day delivery you can your items delivered wherever you are. Or rather wherever you’re parked. Amazon delivery to your car is the newest offering in the Prime Key service that makes shopping even more convenient than ever.

Recently Amazon unveiled its new in-home delivery service, Key, that allows deliveries to be placed inside your home even when you’re not there. Now the company is expanding on that service to include the trunk of your car. Whether you’re parked in a driveway or at work, this new service promises to have your packages in your trunk within a four-hour window. The program is part of Amazon’s solution to eliminate lost packages that are stolen from porches.

Of course, there are a few strings attached to the new service. The in-car delivery service access the remote entry option that already exists in certain makes and models of cars. In order to be able to receive a delivery you need to be an Amazon Prime member with a 2015 or newer Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac or Volvo with an active OnStar or Volvo On Call account.

The service is currently only available in 37 select cities across the country. Your vehicle needs to be parked within a certain range of the delivery location and in a publicly accessible area. You track your package and delivery using the Amazon Key app.
