So you say that deep, deep discounts online just aren’t enough? That’s okay. Amazon Prime Day at Whole Foods is coming! Starting Jul. 16, you won’t just get super Prime Day discounts on Amazon—you’ll also get them on some of your fave Whole Foods Market products, too.
Not only do Amazon Prime members always get an extra 10 percent off select sale items at Whole Foods (those with the handy little yellow sign in front of them) and special Prime Member-only deals at Whole Foods Market stores, but now they’re also eligible for sweet, sweet savings during Amazon’s annual sale event—which is lasting even longer this year.
Jeff Wilke, Amazon CEO Worldwide Consumer said in a press release, “New this year, members can shop exclusive Prime Day Launches from hundreds of brands worldwide, enjoy savings at Whole Foods Market and experience surprise entertainment events unboxes from giant Smile boxes in major cities.”
So what do Prime customers get on Jul. 16 (for the BIG 36-hour sale!)? While Amazon and Whole Foods haven’t given specifics, there are the extra 10 percent off discounts on sale items and the app-based savings. All you need to do is download the Whole Foods Market app and scan the Prime Code.
Oh, and one more Prime Day perk is coming. Between Jul. 14 and 17, your Amazon Prime Rewards Visa card can get Prime members 10 percent back on up to $400 worth of purchases.
