Nothing beats the summer heat quite like a trip to an air-conditioned movie theater. Thanks to the new AMC Stubs A-List subscription service you can enjoy movies (and the AC) all season long without breaking the bank.

In response to the swiftly growing popularity of MoviePass, AMC has now rolled out a subscription plan of its own and it has a lot of awesome perks. For $19.95 per month subscribers can see three movies per week, even if it means watching the same movie multiple times in the same week or day (in case your kids just can’t get enough of Incredibles 2). The plan also covers IMAX, 3D and Dolby movies.

The price is twice as much as MoviePass which is only $9.95 a month; however the AMC Service is much more convenient to use. Simply buy your tickets as you normally would either online or in person for no additional fees. Unlike MoviePass, which requires members to physically check in to a theater location and then activate the pass to enter the movie. AMC’s Stubs A-List also includes all the same perks as their Stubs Insider Loyalty program, like discounts, free upgrades and line skipping at the concessions.

Each week of the plan runs from Friday to Thursday and you can’t roll over any of your three weekly viewings to another week. Unfortunately, just like MoviePass, only adults 18 and and over can sign up, which means you still have to buy regular tickets for your kids. AMC hopes to offer a family membership plan in the future.
