Mother Goose at Center for Puppetry Arts
Presented as part of the Center’s Theatre for the Very Young Series, little ones can sing, wiggle and clap along with classic nursery rhyme characters to find Mother Goose. Kids will help Humpty Dumpty, Little Bo Peep, Jack & Jill and all the other citizens of Rhymeville piece together clues to solve Mother Goose’s whereabouts in this highly interactive, original show meant for children ages 2 and up. Piedmont Park Arts Festival
Don’t miss Piedmont Park’s summer arts and crafts festival, a two-day outdoor event with an emphasis on the visual arts and family fun. This event features nearly 250 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalwork, glass blowers, jewelers and crafters. The festival will also offer artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, a street market, children’s play area plus festival foods and beverages with healthy alternatives. Sat.-Sun. Event details. 

Merry Go Zoo Structures at The High
The High Museum of Art just got a little funkier. Experience Merry Go Zoo, the second interactive installation by Spanish designer Jaime Hayon on the Carroll Slater Sifly Piazza. Inspired to create a playful, 21st-century version of an outdoor public sculpture, Hayon has designed four large-scale, vibrantly colored structures that invite visitors to interact by spinning on the base or by rotating the sculpture. Fri.-Sun. Kroger Junior Chef Classes
Kroger Junior Chef is a cooking class for kids on Saturday mornings at select local Krogers around Atlanta. A Kroger Chef will guide your child as they learn to create a tasty food item on their own. Explore a parking lot filled with trucks of all shapes and sizes—including a fire truck, limo, dump truck, school bus, 18-wheeler and police vehicles! Stone Mountain Park

Dinosaur Explore
Check out 14 species of prehistoric dinosaurs in Stone Mountain Park’s “Dinosaur Explore” exhibit. The prehistoric creature collection features more than 20 life-size dinosaurs with special effects allowing them to move and roar just like their ancient ancestors, available on “Attractions Open” days and included in a daily Adventure Pass and an annual Mountain Membership.
