CHOA Christmas Parade
Come see the largest holiday parade in the southeast as Peachtree is transformed to Santa Claus lane with floats, giant helium-filled balloons, and marching bands. Stake your spot early as thousands of spectators will be lined up along the streets eagerly awaiting the arrival of Santa. Sat., 10:30 a.m. to noon, Peachtree Street from 16th St. to 5th St., Free with admission and for members. All ages. Event details.

Reindog Parade
You don’t need a dog to enjoy the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s annual event, when Atlanta’s poshest pups dress in their holiday finery and compete in various categories. Enjoy Pup Tent refreshments, photos with Saint Nick, and connect with local canine enthusiasts and businesses in the Doggie Expo. The first 100 pre-registered participants to arrive receive a special Wag-Bag. Sat., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Atlanta Botanical Garden, Free with price of admission (for humans); $15 to register your dog. Breakfast with Santa at Osteria 832
Osteria 832 is bringing the North Pole down south for the 11th Annual Breakfast with Santa benefiting local fire stations. Santa Claus will spread Christmas cheer while guests enjoy a hearty breakfast and have the chance to deliver their Christmas wish list to the big man personally. Arrive a few minutes prior to your reservation to catch a glimpse of Santa’s exciting entrance on the fire truck. Reservations are required. Sat., seating times at 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., Osteria 832, $22.76 per person. All ages. Event details.

Annual St. Catherine’s Christmas Market
Cross off items on your gift list at this vendor fair with over 30 vendors offering crafts, food, clothing, jewelry and more. There will be a hot breakfast available in the morning and Santa on-site for photo ops. Proceeds benefit St. Catherine’s Youth Group Pilgrimage. Santa and shopping for a cause? Sold! Sat., 9 a.m., to 3 p.m., St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church, Breakfast is $5 for kids, $7 for adults. All ages. Event details.

Children’s Holiday Party at Southern Art
Chef Art Smith will transform Southern Art into a winter wonderland at the annual children’s holiday part, snow included. Guests are invited to decorate gingerbread cookies with chef Smith, take photos with Santa and his reindeer and indulge in a delicious hot chocolate bar complete with parents-only selections. Chill out as a snow machine creates an authentic winter backdrop and a local children’s choir performs traditional holiday tunes throughout the day. Hershel & The Hanukkah Goblins
A feisty band of goblins has stolen Hanukkah, and it’s up to brave young Hershel of Ostropol to get it back during this popular family musical production. Camped out in the haunted synagogue on the hill, Hershel outwits the goblins one by one, but can he prevail through the eighth night when the ferocious King of Goblins appears? Sun., 10:30 a.m., 1 & 4 p.m., MJCCA-Zaban Park, $10-15.
