Dig for Dinosaur Bones at Caney Creek Preserve
Caney Creek Preserve in Forsyth County serves up an epic playground with a terrific spider web climbing structure, a dinosaur dig area, and a water play feature—in warm months only. There are also 1.2 miles of walking trails in the forest, with interpretive signs along the way, which means you can move from the playground to exploration to picnic tables to nap time in one joyous blink of an eye.
