Design Club at MODA
Why do architects and urban planners build models? Head to MODA this Saturday for Design Club Day and you’ll find out! Hands-on activities will allow children and adults to explore architectural models and to build their own. You’ll focus on designing buildings and cities that are inclusive, sustainable, and help us live healthy lives. Sun. Event details.

Last Weekend! Garden Lights, Holiday Nights at Atlanta Botanical Garden
Garden Lights, Holiday Nights presented by Invesco QQQ returns this year with new features and crowd favorites, including all-new music and motion for Atlanta’s favorite holiday spectacle, Nature’s Wonders, the largest curtain of synchronized light and sound in the world. Last Weekend! Ride-On Train at the Atlanta Botanical Garden
All aboard The Botanical Express! The popular children’s Ride-on Train is set to depart for a trip around the Great Lawn every Saturday and Sunday through January 12 once again this holiday season. Sat. & Sun. Event details.

Atlantic Station

Skate the Station
Skate the Station is as close as Atlanta gets to Rockefeller Plaza, with an outdoor rink surrounded by tall buildings, as you can get. Tickets are available at the ice rink ticket window and online, and holiday hours are from 3-11 p.m. Check the Atlantic Station website for weather related closures and hour changes before you go! Fri.-Sun. Cirque du Soleil VOLTA 
Watch amazing acrobatics as the Cirque performers tell the story of Waz, a gameshow contestant who must learn to be true to himself. But even if you don’t follow the plot, the performance is a visual feast. Fri.- Sun. Event details.



Enchanted Woodlands at Chattahoochee Nature Center
The fairies and gnomes have been busy building whimsical houses along Kingfisher Pond Trail. Slow down as you search for the houses made from tiny natural objects. Take notice of the beautiful and enchanting features of the winter woods. Fri.-Sun. Event details.

Schoolhouse Rock Live at Roswell Cultural Arts Center
From 1970s TV to the stage, Schoolhouse Rock Live promises all the musical numbers of your childhood, re-packaged for theirs. A nervous schoolteacher learns how to capture students’ imaginations with songs about history, civics, science, math, and grammar, like “Just a Bill” and “Conjunction Junction.” Kids will want to blast off with “Interplanet Janet” on this colorful adventure! Stone Mountain

Snow Mountain at Stone Mountain
Conquer a 400-foot snow-covered tubing hill and enjoy an enormous snowy play area this winter at Stone Mountain Park. Get your thrills and chills on Dare Devil Plunge, where you’ll reach speeds up to 30 mph as you zip through a 150′ tunnel of lights! The Ice Rink at Sugar Hill

Worth the Drive: Narnia at Serenbe Playhouse
NARNIA, an immersive dramatization based on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, tells of four English schoolchildren in the time of World War II who stumble upon a wardrobe which they discover to be a portal into a magical kingdom called Narnia. Sat. & Sun. Event details.
