Slither on over to Fernbank for the ever-popular reptile day, where kids can come face-to-face with table after table of live reptiles and amphibians. Atlanta Street Food Festival
Head to Piedmont Park for the annual Atlanta Street Food Festival, complete with local flavor and entertainment. Held at Piedmont Park, 10th and Piedmont Ave. Free admission, but wristbands (which you need if you want to eat) are $12/ adult. Sat. from 12-10 p.m. All ages. Event details.

Visit the Green Market at Piedmont Park
If it’s Saturday in Atlanta, it’s time to visit the Green Market. Bring the bikes and the pups and pay a visit to the market, with it’s array of Georgia grown produce, handmade crafts, cooking demonstrations, and kids’ activities. Don’t miss this stage adaptation of Doreen Cronin’s book Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type. Cows that type? Chickens on strike?? Farmer Brown can’t believe his ears! Head to the Atlanta Food Festival 
Atlanta’s hottest restaurants, caterers and food trucks are taking it OTP, where in addition to delicious dishes to sample, kids will enjoy the fun zone (inflatables, waterslides, a rock climbing wall, bungee jumping and bouncy houses), and you’ll enjoy perusing the arts and crafts vendors. Held at Jim R. Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Rd. Admission is free, parking is $5. Sat. from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. All ages. Event details.

Slip-n-Slide at the Acworth Slide
Head to Acworth’s Dallas Landing Park for a slip and slide you (and your kids) won’t forget down a 175′ long waterside. Who knew we had the “World’s Largest Inflatable Water Slide” in our backyard? Held at Dallas Landing Park, 5120 Allatoona Drive. $16 for unlimited slides/ person, $8 for unlimited slides in 1 hour/person, $4 for 1 slide/ person. See the Silverbacks Play
Support our local soccer team against the Jacksonville Armada by heading out to the stadium and showing your little kickers how the games looks when played by the pros.
