Reptile Day at Fernbank
Slither on over to Fernbank for the ever-popular reptile day, where kids can come face-to-face with table after table of live reptiles and amphibians. Visit the Green Market at Piedmont Park
If it’s Saturday in Atlanta, it’s time to visit the Green Market. Bring the bikes and the pups and pay a visit to the market, with it’s array of Georgia grown produce, handmade crafts, cooking demonstrations, and kids’ activities. Atlanta’s hottest restaurants, caterers and food trucks are taking it OTP, where in addition to delicious dishes to sample, kids will enjoy the fun zone (inflatables, waterslides, a rock climbing wall, bungee jumping and bouncy houses), and you’ll enjoy perusing the arts and crafts vendors. Slip-n-Slide at the Acworth Slide
Head to Acworth’s Dallas Landing Park for a slip and slide you (and your kids) won’t forget down a 175′ long waterside. Who knew we had the “World’s Largest Inflatable Water Slide” in our backyard? Held at Dallas Landing Park, 5120 Allatoona Drive. $16 for unlimited slides/ person, $8 for unlimited slides in 1 hour/person, $4 for 1 slide/ person.
