Atlanta Beltline Southwest 1k Youth Fun Run
The Atlanta BeltLine Southwest 1K Youth Fun Run takes place shortly following the 5K, and features an abbreviated course through Historic West End and Westview neighborhoods for little runners. Participants receive a free race shirt and certificate and get to meet Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time characters, enjoy games from the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Hawks, music by Power 96.1 and more family fun. Sat., 8:30 am, Gordon White Park, $10. Flying Colors Butterfly Festival
Set their hearts aflutter at the Flying Colors Butterfly Festival at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. It will be a flurry of family-fun with butterfly releases, crafts, face-painting, live entertainment, and more at this important fundraising event for the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Atlanta Street Food Festival
Something about meals on wheels always pleases the small set.
