Returning for another season, the Atlanta Fair is back at Turner Field, and it’s without a doubt the most reasonably priced fair in the land (admission ranges from $.50 on select dates to $3). Designing with Minecraft at MODA
Designers in grades K-2 will explore Minecraft by using it as a tool for designing and building a peaceful, daylight-only creative world. They will learn some computer programming basics and improve their math skills by using the heads-up displays and debug screen to improve game play, and they’ll also investigate notable structures throughout history to have a deeper understanding of architecture through building in Minecraft. KidFitStrong Fitness Challenge and Obstacle Course at Piedmont Park
The KidFitStrong Fitness Challenge is the nation’s largest mobile fitness event, where kids of all ages can flex their physical fitness by participating in a completion-based obstacle course designed to challenge speed, strength, agility and overall physical fitness. The event is free to the public and features a variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy including active gaming fun for all ages and on-site programming designed to inspire kids and families to live a more active and healthy lifestyle.
