Wicked at The Fox
Long before Dorothy arrived, there was another young woman with emerald-green skin—smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships…until the world decides to call one “good,” and the other one “wicked.” See this before-the-Oz classic at The Fox. Fri.-Sun. Event details.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at Center for Puppetry Arts
Celebrate the holidays when Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer™ returns to the stage for its tenth consecutive year. The beloved tale is a faithful adaptation of the classic 1964 stop-motion animated television special. Fri.-Sun. Event details.

Artful Stories at the Carlos Museum
The story of Princess Gie Gie and her long daily trek for water is based on high-fashion model Georgie Badiel’s childhood experience growing up in Burkina Faso. After hearing the story and looking closely at a Makonde water vessel, a finely-decorated clay vessel from Mozambique, children will head to the studio to make clay pinch pots. This is for preschoolers and kindergarteners with an accompanying adult. Sat. Event details.

Back Yard Campout at Dunwoody Nature Center
Enjoy a night under the stars without going too far from home. At this family focused program, you’ll learn some of the camping basics like how to set up and break down tents and how to build and put out a campfire. Educators will help you plan for the overnight by explaining everything that you need to bring for your adventure. And what campout would be complete without a fire, some s’mores, games, a night hike, and even a camp song or two? Sat. Event details.

Santa’s Arrival by Train at Southeastern Railway Museum
Take free photos with Santa, who arrives by steam locomotive to the Southeastern Railway and Locomotive Museum. Enjoy refreshments (cookies and cocoa), lunch, entertainment, and letter writing to Santa. Sat. Event details.
