Global Winter Wonderland
“Global Winter Wonderland” is a spectacular lantern festival and multicultural theme park. This holiday season, guests can travel the world in one visit while viewing the larger-than-life lantern designs of landmarks from countries all over the globe. Highlights include recreations of some of the world’s greatest architectural achievements, including the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, Chichen Itza and the Golden Gate Bridge. The event also features numerous carnival rides and games, international cuisine, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and celebrations of holiday traditions and various cultures from around the world. Zoo-refic Cookies with Santa
Be there when Santa makes his first stop—Zoo Atlanta! Bring the little ones for a personal visit with Santa and a professional photo. Warm up with hot chocolate and cookies, and kick off the holiday season with costume characters, festive crafts, animal encounters, music, and games. Register online by November 29 to reserve your space. Holly Jolly Film Fest
From classic holiday specials to a jamming Jurassic dance party, celebrate the holiday season like never before. Catch screenings of A Charlie Brown Christmas and enjoy Christmas craft stations before shaking your tail at the Dinosaur Dance Party led by Fernbank’s Santa-saurus. Fernbank’s Holly Jolly Film Fest is presented in conjunction with the festive special exhibition, Winter Wonderland. Santa’s Missing Mail
Come to ride the Botanical Express and see the model train show, and then warm up inside Mershon Hall and have a laugh! Santa’s Missing Mail is an all-ages puppet show sure to delight both kids and adults. Sat., 10:30 a.m., Atlanta Botanical Garden, Free with admission and for members. All ages. Event details.

A Christmas Carol
Celebrate Atlanta’s finest actors in this magnificent staging of Charles Dickens’s classic Christmas tale. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by four ghosts offering perspective: his old partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. A magical tradition for the whole family, and a great way to see the work of Atlanta’s best actors portraying Dickens’s beloved characters. Hanukkah Storytime
Hanukkah begins at sundown on November 27th this year, and continues for eight days. Celebrate with Little Shop of Stories and their annual storytime as they read books about menorahs, latkes, dreidels, gelt, and the festival of lights! Play dreidel and celebrate together!
