Atlanta Streets Alive
On Sunday, Atlanta Streets Alive takes over Peachtree St. from Midtown to Downtown. The event kicks off at 2 p.m. with a bicycle parade, and it continues until 6 p.m. Enjoy biking, skating, walking and rolling down the streets while taking part in this fun, free, family-friendly event. Charlotte’s Web at Center for Puppetry Arts
Don’t miss a puppet show production of Charlotte’s Web, based on E.B. White’s classic novel. In this beloved tale, farm pig Wilbur finds a friend in Charlotte the spider, and Charlotte—with the help of some of the barnyard’s most colorful residents, including Templeton the gluttonous rat—saves Wilbur from a cruel fate with her wit, words and webs. Merry Go Zoo Structures at the High
The High Museum of Art just got a little funkier. Experience Merry Go Zoo, the second interactive installation by Spanish designer Jaime Hayon on the Carroll Slater Sifly Piazza. Inspired to create a playful, 21st-century version of an outdoor public sculpture, Hayon has designed four large-scale, vibrantly colored structures that invite visitors to interact by spinning on the base or by rotating the sculpture. North Georgia State Fair
This is the big one, folks! If you’re looking for a classic fall fair with rides, funnel cakes (and all the other fair foods), entertainment, and more, look no further than the North Georgia State Fair. Kroger Junior Chef Classes
Kroger Chef Junior is a cooking class for kids on Saturday mornings at select local Krogers around Atlanta. A Kroger chef will guide your child as they learn to create a tasty food item on their own. Lake Lanier

Swim Across America’s Open Water Swim
Swim with the Olympians at Swim Across America’s 5th annual Atlanta Open Water Swim at Lake Lanier. More than 10 Olympians will join regional swimmers for half-mile, 1-mile, 5K and 2-mile relay options, and an inaugural Duck Splash for less confident swimmers.
