You don’t need an umbrella for the tot-tastic production of Little Raindrop Songs at the Alliance Theater. Pirate Day
Set sail for a swashbuckling adventure at Fernbank’s Pirate Day! Make your own sword out of newsprint, play the walk the plank game, get temporary pirate tattoos and enjoy a scavenger hunt as well as other games and activities. Sat., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Free with admission and for members. All ages. Event details.

Reptile Day
Reptile Day introduces you to all kinds of slithering, slow-moving, and sharp-toothed creatures in a safe environment. Jason Clark, star of the Animal Planet series “SnakesKin,” brings out venomous and non-venomous snakes during an exciting and humorous show. Get an up-close view of live, native reptiles with the Reptile Wagon, and enjoy themed crafts. Sat., 12 to 4 p.m., Chattahoochee Nature Center, Adults, $10; Ages 3-12, $6; Ages 2 and younger, free. Little Raindrop Songs
Enjoy a whimsically theatrical and imaginative journey through an anything-but-normal day, with original music by the Japanese ‘pajama-pop’ band Lullatone. The audience is led through a fully interactive world made completely of brightly colored paper which transforms dramatically into multiple settings. This fully interactive theatrical performance will connect with the very young and invite them into the wonder of the artistic experience. Sat., 9:30 & 11 a.m., Alliance Theater, Adults, $10. 18 months to 5 years. Cooking Class
Kids (ages 6 and up) will learn how to make vegetable fried rice and “candy sushi” during this fun-filled cooking class. They play in the kitchen and there is no mess for mom. Sat., 10 a.m., Young Chef’s Academy, $35. Ages 6 and up. Event details.

Livvy’s Love Fun Run/Walk
Bundle up for this run/walk, with a 5K and 8K option, Zumba, and Kidz Ultimate Challenge for children in grades 5 or less. Kids will have a blast completing several fun challenges sure to bring on fits of laughter, joyful screams, and…sweat! Funds raised from this event will go towards support of Livvy’s Love, Inc. foundation activities and projects.
