Clean Home Clear Mind

Red Tricycle: Your community recently voted you “Most Awesome Flawless Eco-Friendly Cleaning Services” – what do your customers value most about your business?
Clean Home Clear Mind: I believe that what my clients value most is our customer service, commitment to quality and that we are extremely reliable.

RT: What do you want people to know about your business that they don’t already know?
CHCM: That cleaning homes is a very labor intensive job and that our cleaning associates work very hard. It’s also important to know we pride ourselves on providing quality cleaning so if we miss the mark every once in a while, let us know. Your input not only enables us to correct any mistakes, but help makes us a better service company.

RT: How did your business get started and what was the motivation?
CHCM: My business got started when I realized that the demand for my services was greater than I could handle on my own. The motivation behind my company has much to do with Don, my boyfriend and general manager, who saw that by hiring and training individuals who knew they were loved and cared for, they could make a good living and be proud of the services they provide.

RT: Tell us, what do you start your morning with: 1. coffee 2. tea 3. mimosa 4. water 5. all of the above.
CHCM: I like to start my morning with a cup of hot coffee and depending on my mood, a raisin bran muffin or sesame bagel with lox cheese spread.

RT: What is the most awesome thing a customer has ever done for you?
CHCM: There is no “most” awesome thing since clients of mine have surprised me doing things such as serving me breakfast in their home, treating me to a body massage and complements that make me feel even better about myself and my alignment with the universe and purpose in life.

RT: What is your biggest pet peeve as a business owner?
CHCM:: I would have to say my biggest pet peeve is when people are late or make others late who are depending or waiting on them.

RT: How do you keep your stress levels down?
CHCM: I drink a lot of water and taking deep breaths throughout my work day.

RT: What’s your secret superhero power as a business owner?
CHCM: I’m really not sure how to answer this question. If anything, probably the deep sense of love and spiritual connection I get when meeting certain individuals.

RT: Tell us, what is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received (as a parent or business owner)?
CHCM: As a business owner, I would have to say that it’s okay to make mistakes since you can use them to learn and grow to make yourself a better person.
