On the twelfth day of Christmas, Red Tricycle gave to you, a weekend of fun things to do! Warm your heart with a puppet performance of Stan the Lovesick Snowman at the Center for Puppetry Arts. Add some spice with a cooking class for you and your mini-me at Young Chef’s Academy. And be sure to celebrate Three Kings Day (aka. twelfth day of Christmas) at the Atlanta History Center’s Dia del los Reyes event or the Children’s Museum of Atlanta.


Stan the Lovesick Snowman
This story begins when Stan the Snowman meets a dog who has been sent outside in the wintry cold. As the dog tells him all about the warm stove inside, Stan can’t help but fall in love with the wood burning beauty. This seems like a romance destined to fail. And if things weren’t hard enough for Stan, he discovers a young Snowwoman has her eye on him. Based on “The Snow Man” by Hans Christian Andersen, Stan the Lovesick Snowman is a hilarious and heartwarming story perfect for the winter season! Dia Del Los Reyes
Kick off the New Year with the Three Kings Day Festival held in collaboration with the Mexican Consulate and the Instituto de Mexico.  This program is free to the public, but space is limited and does not include museum admission. Meet the Holidays: Three Kings Day
Visitors to the Museum  can celebrate Three Kings Day by listening to Hurray for Three Kings Day! by Lori Marie Carlson and making a shining star mobile to hang in their homes. Sat., 12 p.m.; Sun., 3 p.m., Children’s Museum of Atlanta, Free with admission and for members. All ages. Event details.
