The weekend is here and it’s time to get revved up for some serious fun. Take your tot to see their favorite costumed characters at Disney on Ice: 100 Years of Magic. Don’t miss the world’s largest shrine circus and carnival or the Greek Festival in Marietta. Disney on Ice: 100 Years of Magic
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck celebrate 100 years with sixty-five Disney characters in a musical show on ice. Show highlights include pieces from Aladdin, Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, Pinocchio, and the Lion King. The 95-minute show incorporates floats, costumed characters, music and actors. Fri., 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sat., 11 a.m., 3 and 7 p.m. Sun., 1 and 5 p.m., The Arena at Gwinnett Center, $28-$98. All ages. Event details.

72nd Annual Yaarab Shrine Circus & Fair
Families, children and adults of all ages will beam with delight as The World’s Largest Shrine Circus & Midway Carnival pull into town this spring. With more than 22 performances over 10 days, circus goers can enjoy circus acts from around the world including: high-flying trapeze acts, aerials and acrobats, show horses, elephants, bears, daredevil acts, thrilling carnival rides and, of course, world-famous Shriner clowns. In addition to 22, 80-minute circus performances over 10 days, more than 40 exciting carnival rides and attractions and lots of favorite foods like funnel cakes, cotton candy, fried Oreos, snow cones, elephant ears, hot dogs, candy apples, fluffy fries, burgers, pizza, are sure to add to the fun and thrill of it all. Marietta Greek Festival
Opa! Come experience Mediterranean magic with Greek Hellenic dancing, Greek food and pastries, traditional gifts and jewelry, and kids’ activities. Fri., 3-11 p.m.; Sat., 10 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sun., 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, Marietta, $4 general admission, ages 12 and younger are free. All ages. Event details.

Walk Now for Autism Speaks
Join Autism Speaks for the 10th annual Walk Now For Autism Speaks Georgia in partnership with the Marcus Autism Center on Sunday, May 18th at Atlantic Station Pinnacle Lot. Come ready to enjoy a day full of smiles, laughter, awareness and fundraising to support those with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Children, parents, family members and friends are encouraged to come show their support for their loved ones by walking 1.5 miles, creating team t-shirts or signs! Enjoy children’s activities, games, crafts, meet with resource vendors and grab a bite to eat. Gates open at 8am with event concluding at 12:30pm – free parking! Register online! Atlanta Streets Alive
Atlanta Streets Alive will close 3.1 miles of Peachtree Street to cars and open them to people, from MLK Drive in Downtown Atlanta all the way up to 17th Street in Midtown. Bring your bicycle or just your feet, and get ready to explore your community streets in a safer, healthier, more livable way. Sat., 2 to 6 p.m., Peachtree St. between MLK and 17th St., Marietta, Free. All ages. Event details.
