Toddler Takeover: An Arts Festival for the Very Young
Don’t miss the inaugural Toddler Takeover: An Arts Festival for the Very Young! See all 6 original Alliance Theatre for the Very Young productions. Enjoy side-by-side art-making at the High Museum of Art and stroller gallery tours. Hear the debut of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s Music for the Very Young. Island Adventure Day
Kick off summer fun by going on an island adventure! Enjoy a variety of island-themed activities including a Museum scavenger hunt, live lemur feedings, temporary tattoos, themed crafts, games and more. Peachtree Hills Festival of the Arts 2014
The Third Annual Peachtree Hills Festival of the Arts will bring 125 artists to the shady, tree-lined neighborhood. The two-day festival will be held in and around the Peachtree Hills Park & Recreation Center, including food, acoustic music and activities for kids. Visitors will enjoy fine art and crafts, a children’s area and local food and beverage concessions including the “gourmet” food trucks. Local acoustic musicians will enliven the atmosphere. Sat., 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Peachtree Hills Park & Recreation Center, Free. All ages. Event details.

The Bubble Palooza
Brighten your Saturday with a three-mile run through thousands of bubbles in a variety of colors. Start the race with a white t-shirt and end with a rainbow-colored souvenir. Sat., 10 a.m., Gwinnett County Fairgrounds, $45, kids 7 and under are free. Ages 8 and older for race; ages 7 and younger are welcome, but do not receive a bib or t-shirt. Event details.

Three Pairs of Shoes
A musical story of an autism journey from the perspective of the teacher, the parent, and the person with autism produced by the Piedmont Group and Creative Academic Solutions A question and answer session and a book signing follows the presentation. Sat., 2 to 4 p.m., The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead, Adults, $7; ages 17 and younger, free with an adult admission. All ages. Event details.
