SuperCon Fun Run Run, jump or dance your way through the 5k natural terrain trail of Piedmont Park in your favorite superhero or comic con costume in this non-competitive race. Partial proceeds benefit The Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation, a non-profit who raises awareness of bullying issues and raised funds for real world work to stop bullying. Registration includes race bib, t-shirt, 4 option superhero challenges, and the most fun your family will have all year! Buckhead Spring Arts & Crafts Festival 2014 An estimated 40,000 visitors will attend this event with up to 185 displays of fine art and crafts, folk and “outsider art.” In addition to the abundance of unique art, there will be a children’s area, local gourmet food, beverages and a small stage for acoustic musical performances.  Sat., 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sun., 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Chastain Park, Free. All ages. Event details.

Llama Llama Storytime Anna Dewdney returns to Little Shop (hurrah!) with a new book just in time for Mother’s Day –Nelly Gnu and Daddy Too. Mommy and Me Princess Tea Afternoon tea and treats will be served in porcelain teapots and tea cups while 15 of everyone’s favorite princesses perform and visit each table. This is a fun family event for all ages from grandparents to young children and any Disney fans. Mommy and Me Mother’s Day Tea Enjoy girly bonding time as you get all dressed and glammed up in Olivia’s “Closet of Your Dreams”, get Mommy-Daughter chocolate facials. Makeovers include including updos, mini manis and of course make up! Then each mommy-daughter pair will strut their stuff on the red carpet and have a photo shoot with a professional photographer. Once you’ve glammed it up, it’s off to tea. Each Mommy-Daughter pair will receive a keepsake photo from the event and extra special tea party favors.
