Winter Wonderland Celebration Day
Enjoy a special day of cultural- and holiday-themed performances as you celebrate holidays, traditions and cultures in this festive community-based exhibition of decorated trees, artifact displays. A Christmas Carol
Celebrate the season in this magnificent staging of Charles Dickens’s classic Christmas tale. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by four ghosts offering perspective: his old partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Sat., 2:30 & 8 p.m.; Sun., 2:30 p.m., Alliance Theater, $21-65. Recommended for children age 6 & up Event Details.

Urban Nutcracker
Go back to the 1940s on Atlanta’s historic Auburn Avenue and enjoy a different take on the classic production of the Nutcracker presented by Ballethnic Dance Company. Watch characters like the Reggae Ragdolls, the sultry Arabian dance, the spins and leaps of the Black Russian, Mother Spice and her tumbling Spice Drops. Tree Lighting at Atlantic Station
Atlantic Station turns their tree lighting into an all-day celebration with live music, arts, live reindeer, delicious winter treats, and fam-friendly activities. Special holiday performances take place throughout the day in Central Park before the Holiday Parade begins at 7:30 p.m. when Santa will arrive to light the Christmas Tree and start a magical snowfall! Gustafer Yellowgold Concert
Rock out at this multi-media performance featuring a combination of live music, animated illustrations and storytelling sure to keep the entire family entertained. Sat., 11 a.m., Red Clay Theater, $10 in advance, $13 at the door, free for children 2 & under. All ages. Event Details.
