Does your kid go “Vroom, vroom” with anything even remotely resembling a car? Do you find yourself tripping over mountains of Matchbox cars or trying to make room in your home for yet another Hot Wheels track? Well, it’s time you hit the road and take your budding racecar driver someplace where the cars are bigger than boxes and where he can learn the history behind his favorite set of wheels. Inspire your little auto aficionados at one of these car-themed destinations.

The Track Family Fun Parks – Branson, Mo

Little daredevils will get their fill of thrills at this go karting park that features 14 different tracks at five Branson-area locations. Climb high above the ground on the Heavy Metal High Rise, a steel and concrete behemoth featuring a four-story corkscrew and a three-tiered slope to the ground; clickety-clack on the Wild Woody, an all-wooden track that looks more like a roller coaster than a go karting course; or push your speed limits on classic flat road racetracks. Little ones still itching for something to do can cruise to the kiddie rides or try their hand at laser tag and mini golf.

Good to know: There are height restrictions: Kids must be 36” to ride as passengers on most tracks (excluding the kiddie tracks) and at least 54 to 58” (depending on the course) to drive.
