If You Love Mo Willems, You’ll Go Bananas for Leo Timmers

Willems is the master of the kiddie plot twist (check out "This is NOT a Good Idea"). And, more recently on the scene, Belgian author Timmers does the same. Animals frequently take center stage in their books, flaunting silly-adorable human qualities that are easy to identify with. We love the slow, simple buildup of Willems' books like "Pigeon Wants a Puppy." And we find the same flair for drama, plus quirky illustration, in Timmers' "Bang."
