If you had any doubt about hitting up Huntington Beach, California this weekend, rest assured there is a family-friendly event waiting for you. Brand new moms will have everything they need because there will be a breastfeeding area at Travis Barker’s Back to the Beach Festival, an event that runs from April 28-29 at Huntington State Beach.

Starting at noon festival patrons will have the chance to hear up to nine bands a day, enjoy the Lil’ Punk Kidz zone, play beach games and consume tons of food, beer and craft cocktails. Kids under 10 will also get in free with a paid adult admission.

It appears Barker is putting his band and daddy experience to good use with the plans for this event and making it inclusive of all family members. Moms can use the private and quiet nursing area and both parents can let the bigger kiddos play in the Lil’ Punk Kid Zone where there will be face painting, crafts, bounce houses, sand castle building, a pool with mermaids, a shaded area and healthy snack options. The area will also have big screen TV’s so no one will have to miss out on the music!

For adults, get ready to relive your 90s glory days because you’ll hear sounds from your fave punk and rock bands of the day. As of now, the schedule shows 311, Sublime, Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, The Mighty Mighty Boss Tones, Suicide Machines, Save Farris just to name a few.

With such a fun lineup, amenities for breastfeeding moms and young kids, enjoying the festival under the beautiful California sun sounds like a sure thing this weekend!
