Build-A-Bear Workshop and Walmart want to help your kiddos celebrate National Teddy Bear Day. Starting Sep. 7, the retailers will pair up to bring your family a bounty of beary fun times!

Customers at Build-A-Bear Workshop stores can score a limited-edition collectible for $6.50 on Sep. 7, while supplies last. Along with the cuddle collectible, BAB and participating Walmart stores will have interactive and experiential activities for the beary special day.

Sharon Price John, Build-A-Bear Workshop chief executive officer and president, said in a press release, “We are pleased to once again lead the celebration of National Teddy Bear Day and honored to work with Walmart on our first-ever national collaboration to make this the biggest event yet.”

BAB retailers will also host the store’s huggable mascot Bearemy, for a Sep. 7 meet and greet. The mascot will also make his way around the globe, traveling to iconic landmarks and local communities.

Snap a pic with Bearemy and share it on social media with the hashtag #nationalteddybearday to do some good. The Build-A-Bear Foundation will donate a teddy bear to U.S., U.K. and Canadian charitable organizations for each photo shared between Sep. 2 and 9.

Price John added, “This year, the weekend will be filled with fun in-store activities including a special offer for a collectible furry friend designed especially for the occasion, appearances throughout the world by our huggable mascot, Bearemy, and in line with our mission to ‘add a little more heart to life’, the donation of thousands of furry friends to multiple charities to help children in need.”
