Double strollers can be clunky, wide, hard to steer and difficult to stow, but the just launched UPPAbaby G-LINK Double Stroller is surprisingly slick. If you’re considering a double stroller for twins or siblings, you’re going to want to hear about this new set of wheels.

Features to Love

If you’ve used an UPPAbaby stroller before, you’ll find that the G-LINK offers the same strolling experience as the G-LUXE, just double the fun. Even the maneuverability is pretty much on par with their single stroller offerings, though this one is a little more challenging to push with one hand given it’s size. Still, as a double, it has a sleek and modern look and comes in three colors – grey, green and black.

Each seat has it’s own 4-position recline, so while one kid naps, the other can see the sights or have a snack. And if they are napping, you can sneak a peek at them through the canopy’s, peek-a-boo window. Speaking of those canopies – you’ll find that they are long enough to offer ample shade on sunny days. The storage basket has plenty of room and is easy to get at. And, folding and unfolding is simple.

Baby-Ready

One of the great things about this stroller is that you can use it from birth for twins, or for a newborn sibling. The seats fully recline. You can also add on an infant head support and keep them cozy with a mesh enclosure at their feet.

Let’s Talk Size

At 24.5 pounds, the G-LINK is one of the lightest double strollers on the market, which is key considering how heavy it’ll get the moment you load it up with two kids.

While it isn’t the skinniest side-by-side double stroller at 30-inches wide, it’s still slim enough to maneuver through doorways, around shops and down city sidewalks. Plus, if you’re using this for tackling a city with an older child, there’s still enough room for him to be comfortable beside a younger sibling.

How about when it’s folded? There’s nothing worse than loving a stroller, only to realize once it’s folded it doesn’t fit in your trunk or a closet for storage. The G-LINK folds impressively small for a double. On our test run we fit it in the overhead storage on a commuter train and it would easily fit in pretty much any car’s trunk. Once folded, it stands which is equally great for storing it at home and on the go, such as at a restaurant.
