For Free Fun: Chicago Women’s Park Indoor Playground
Did someone say “free” and “fun”? That’s the best way to sum up the recreation building’s indoor children’s playground. With pint-sized slides, an excellent playhouse and a jungle gym for toddlers, the playground is the perfect winter treat. The padded floor makes it easy for babies to get around. When the kids get older, check out the rock wall. Call ahead, because the hours vary throughout the week. And wear socks -- this is another shoe-free zone.
1801 S. Indiana Ave.
Admission is free
