Your little monkey loves to climb, climb, climb. When he or she gets tired of scurrying up the ladders at the playground, head to an indoor tree house. You’ll find big, faux trees made just for kids at special spots around town, and they’re well worth the trip. Click through our album to see where you can make like Tarzan and Jane — swinging, climbing, sliding and playing the day away.

Tree House Court at Northbrook Court

Your kids might groan when you take them shopping -- but they'll squeal with delight when you make a pit stop at this Northbrook Court oasis. Located near the movie theater, the engaging play area features a massive replica of tree house that is completely enclosed. Children can navigate its twists and turns, whoosh down the slide, or do some pretend camping with stoves and picnic tables. There is spacious seating along the edges for parents to take a breather. Good luck getting them to stop playing and join you at Macy's.
