As you walk through the gates of Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, it’s impossible to miss this magical 100-foot-tall, double-decker carousel nestled amongst lush trees and overlooking a reflecting pool. This 10-story, carnival-lighted behemoth features 88 jumping horses, 15 menagerie animals and three chariots, some which move slowly up and down and others that remain stationary for those looking for a more steady ride. Park goers must be 42 inches to ride alone and the price of general admission is $44.99 for kids under 48” and $64.99 for adults.
