School is in! But preschoolers are still out half the day. What to do? Try a new playground, of course. From a pirate-themed paradise to an oasis where fake bears stand guard, we found great options for young kids that need to build up or burn off energy. Click through our album to discover them all.

For Bears & Dogs, Too: Wicker Park Playground

You could easily pass an afternoon here. Enjoy a welcome from charming bear statues (that spurt water from their mouths in the summer). Soon, you'll be whizzing down the tube slide and swinging from the monkey bars. When everyone is tuckered out, watch pups play at the nearby dog park. Bathrooms onsite in the adjacent fieldhouse are an added bonus.
