School is in! But preschoolers are still out half the day. What to do? Try a new playground, of course. From a pirate-themed paradise to an oasis where fake bears stand guard, we found great options for young kids that need to build up or burn off energy. Click through our album to discover them all.

South Loop Oasis: Cotton Tail Playground

Cotton Tail is a beautiful, large urban playground with a circular shaped park and lots activity. You can gaze at the skyline from the south while enjoying the serenity of the park. A large gazebo offers shady benches -- perfect for picnicking. A pirate ship play structure commands attention, while a large circular sandbox contains community toys, which will make for a fun day of play. Cotton Tail also includes a more traditional climbing structure with swings.
