Be Artsy: Color Wheel Art Studio

If your child loves art and you want a relaxing Memorial Day, try open studio time at Color Wheel Studio. It's housed in the studio of contemporary artist Donald Jackson. Monets-in-training get the fun chance to create and learn in a real artist’s space. All supplies and smocks will be provided.

Held on May 26, noon- 3 p.m. (also every Mon., Tues., Thurs., & Fri. noon-3 p.m.) Cost is $25/hour for ages 2-12. 2016 W. Concord Pl., Bucktown (773-661-1743 or thecolorwheelstudio.com).
