The scoop: It’s a fact: kids dig mice. So yours are bound to enjoy -- as well as learn from -- Maxwell, the main character in this tale about difference. That’s the hope of Chicago author and lifelong educator, Maureen Kanefield, who was inspired to write this story (her first!) to encourage kids to find acceptance and tolerance within themselves, as well as in others. It's the start of a series about Maxwell; all intend to entertain, encourage and educate young readers.
