Wendy Altschuler

"I'm an adventurer. I've skydived twice, rappelled off Chicago's theWit Hotel, soared through the sky on a trapeze at Belmont Harbor and played roller derby with The Windy City Rollers. My three awesome boys, as luck would have it, are also thrill seekers. A super-fun activity, perfect for breaking up the summer and ideal for feral kids like mine, is indoor skydiving at iFLY. Kids get suited up in a full-body wind suit, helmet and goggles, which makes for the cutest photographs. Once in the wind tunnel, an experienced flyer will help your kids take flight, even to the top, spinning in circles, if your kids are brave enough. Most ages will love this sport -- my 4-year old did it but didn't like the wind in his face, however my 6- and 7-year-old boys begged to do it again. I, of course, had a blast!"
