“Goldilocks and the Three Bears” on Stage

Easter Fun at The Roosevelt Collection

Lunar Eclipse Viewing Party
The early morning hours (3:30-6:30 a.m.!) is prime time to watch beauty unfold in the night skies. Look through telescopes (weather permitting) during a lunar eclipse — when the Earth blocks the Sun’s light from reaching the moon, and the moon slowly darkens before setting below the horizon. At this free family event you can also tour Adler Planetarium’s newly renovated Doane Observatory and check out its Space Visualization Laboratory. Held Sat., 3:30-6:30 a.m. at Adler Planetarium. Bunny Rock Chicago 5K
The race kicks off at 9 a.m. followed by an egg hunt for kids 2-8 years old at 10:30 a.m. There will be ’80s rock music to get you in the mood, not to mention 3,000 eggs (!) filled with prizes, and a petting zoo with over 20 different animals. Held Sat., 9 a.m. at Grant Park, Upper Hutchinson Field. $45-50/5K participant; $10-15/egg hunt participant. Elephant and Piggie’s “We are in a Play”
If your pint-sized readers love Mo Willems’ beloved Elephant and Piggie series, this is the show for them.
