This Jingle Holds the Truths of Parenthood

The Maya Rudolph Show premiered this Monday and featured a brand new lullaby with familiar lyrics that we’ve sung out loud (“Close your eyes and sleep my child until the morning light”) and secretly in our head (“That’s a joke, I know you’ll wake me three more times tonight”). Song writer, father and Anchorman actor, Chris Parnell hits parenting on the head when he ends each line with “I love you.” Hit play below to hear the only lullaby you’ll be singing to your kiddo from now on.
